Recipe 1: Simple fish curry.. 🐠🐋🐟

This fish curry is one of the simplest which anyone can prepare with very few simple ingredients available in our kitchen. It is simple,easy to prepare in less oil in less than 8 minutes yet so so satisfying in taste.

Ingredients.. 3 pieces of locally available fish, one small onion sliced, 3 to 4 green chillis slit, turmeric powder half teaspoon, salt as per taste, half cup water and 2 teaspoon cooking oil. For garnishing some coriander leaves(optional).

Method.. Heat cooking oil in a pan, add the sliced onion and saute it until golden brown in colour. Then add turmeric powder and salt and stir it. After that add the fish pieces and gently stir it so that the pieces doesn’t break. Cook it in low flame for 4 minutes or until the fish pieces appear half cooked. Then add little amount of water to it and the slit green chillis and cover the pan. Cook it for another 2 minutes and turn off the flame. Fish curry is ready to be served.

Recipe 2: Mixed Veg Pakora…

Pakora or fritters as we know is a popular deep fried Indian snack which is prepared not only in every home but also by the street vendors, in restaurants and in every eatery corner. Variety of pakoras are being prepared nowadays where onion pakora being the most popular one. Pakoras dipped in sauce or chutney is truly relishing during a rainy evening or as an evening snack. Making pakora varies from person to person. This mixed veg pakora recipe is prepared with only few ingredients but sometimes with only few ingredients it can turn into a mouthwatering one.

Ingredients: 1 medium size carrot, 1 medium size potato, half of a small size cabbage, one medium onion, turmeric powder, salt as per taste, chilli flakes, cumin powder one teaspoon, coriander powder one teaspoon, 2 green chillis chopped, 1 cup gram flour, water as per requirement and refined oil for deep frying.

Method: Heat a pan and add sufficient amount of refined oil to it for deep frying. Simultaneously prepare the batter by mixing all the dry ingredients together. Then chop the vegetables finely and add it to the batter prepared and give a quick mix. Water should be added in little amount so that the batter prepared doesn’t become too watery nor too dry. Once it is mixed then fry it in medium flame until the pakoras become crispy and golden brown. Mixed vegetable pakora is ready to be served with chutney or any sauce.
